Our Story
Story of Bombolone Doughnuts
What Does Bombolone Mean?
What Makes our doughnuts special
Made from scratch before London wakes up by making our doughnuts from scratch.
We spent over six months perfecting the recipe — testing dozens of versions and tasting hundreds of ingredients until we found the perfect bite: soft, fluffy, golden, and indulgent in just the right way.
We don’t cut corners — we hand-pick every ingredient.
- Real vanilla pods for our silky vanilla cream.
- Callebaut Belgian chocolate.
- Authentic Italian mascarpone for our legendary tiramisu filling.
People often tell us:
That’s the feeling we want to bring back — the comfort of home, the smell of fresh baking, the joy of being loved.
At Bombolone, it’s not just dessert — it’s laughter, comfort, and moments worth remembering.
We serve joy, warmth, and deliciousness in every bite.
Our Mission
We create moments that feel like home — bringing happiness and a little more joy, one bite at a time.
Every Bombolone is made with care, from hand-picked ingredients to recipes perfected with love.
Because for us, food isn’t just food — it’s a way of sharing warmth and connection.

How It All Began
It all started when Sonia & Paweł tasted their first bombolone in the sun-soaked hills of Tuscany.
They instantly fell in love — with the fluffy brioche-style dough, the rich creamy filling, and that nostalgic magic of a truly authentic Italian pastry.
Back in London, they couldn’t stop thinking about it. So they decided to bring the bombolone home — but with their own twist.
At Bombolone, we’ve taken the original Italian treat and created a menu for everyone: from classic vanilla lovers to pistachio fans, plus seasonal specials inspired by Italian summers.
The result? A brand full of joy, warmth, and sunshine. And it resonated — within the first month of opening, we became the #1 bakery in London on TripAdvisor.

Freshly Made Doughnuts, Every Single Day

Meet Bombi — La Regina di Bombolone
Born and raised in the sunlit hills of Tuscany, Bombi grew up where life moved slowly and desserts were taken very seriously.
With her polka-dot bow and a cheeky wink, she brings that same Italian sparkle to London.
Bombi believes every day deserves a little sweetness — and that sharing a bombolone is basically a love language.
She’s here to remind you to slow down, savour the moment, and never skip dessert.
Because life’s too short for anything less than #BOMBOLISSIMO.
Her Nonna taught her two things:
how to make the fluffiest bombolone…
and how to live
la dolce vita — the sweet life
